INTRODUCTION

Bible study should be fun.  If you are studying the Bible, but it's not fun, then you are doing something wrong.  Perhaps it has become a chore, or maybe you are just lost because you don't know where to begin.  No matter what is draining the joy out of your study, if it's not fun you are not likely to stick with it for long.

Mike Scott, author of the website www.ScripturesSay.com, received the following letter from a woman student.  She said, "All I can say is WOW!!  Please know that I love Bible study, and with all that you sent to me, it is going to be even more rich to study the Scriptures.  You can be certain that I'll be in touch in regards to Bible questions and thoughts.  The Lord is amazing in His Word, as it seems He wanted to make things fun for us to explore all that is in His word..."

This woman was terminally ill.  I believe that she fully understood the joy of "Loving and Learning the Bible."

New Christians are often handed a Bible and told to "go forth and learn."  The problem is, most of us don't know how to approach learning.  We may have graduated from high school or even collenge without really knowing how to study and learn.

Bible study can follow tried-and-true methods, which will help us to acquire knowledge like we never have before. We can't learn by osmosis.  It takes effort and a logical methodology to be a good student of the Word.

This website will be dedicated to demonstrating an understandable and enjoyable approach to learning.  Hopefully, this will motivate you to spend more and more time in study, and perhaps equip you to share what you have learned with others.

We will focus primarily on the New Testament, as that is the part of the Bible that is studied most diligently.  Of course, the principles and methods that will be utilized can also be applied to a study of the Old Testament as well.

The primary tools that you will need will be an understandable translation of the Bible itself, and a notebook to record your thoughts.  So, in the spirit of great students before you, "Go forth and learn."

This website will be in continual construction, so check back every other week (or sooner), and enjoy the updates.
